Still, it does not mean that by sending my kids to pre-school, I am sold to the K-12 line. At these present times, a preschool provides day care support when both parents are working. But I did set-up the Xijen Pre-school on purpose so that I can work together with other parents in determining the best education our kids could possibly have.

Thank you very much Stephanie. I wish you all the best as you make your move to Los Angeles. By the way, all my kids are spending three years in pre-school (Nursery, Kindergarten 1 and Kindergarten 2). They are either six or seven years old when they enter Grade 1. By the time they finish high school-at the present set-up, they would have spent thirteen years of preparatory schooling.

Hi, the 2 Years- Computer Hardware and Service Technician is a ladder program leading to 4 years course- BS Information Technology. In short when you complete the two year course, you can move on as third year in BS Information Technology. Our laboratory cost per unit is P400.00. I suggest you visit our school so you can see for yourself why Xijen College is 2010 Regional and National winner in the Institution category.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on K+12 and the declining substance (called QUALITY by the education sector) of learning. I agree on your points especially that on being fed the basics the right way. I was conversing with a 25 year-old American Police who asked me if it was right that in the Philippines one needs to finish a bachelor's degree to get a job. I had to explain to him with a heavy heart that many jobs like a salesclerk requires a college degree and that sadly one who finished a college degree in the Philippines is not necessarily equipped as well as the American graduate. Relating it to your point, the number of years in school matter less. The weightier matter is what is fed and how much is ingested during the formation years. An American high school graduate goes a long way in terms of skills and common sense, the basics of doing a job well. I hope I am making sense. Merry Christmas from Los Angeles!

Hi Richter, sorry we are not offering the programs at the moment. But we could consider said courses in the future. We are currently looking at the prospects for employment for caregiver and HRS before we offer them to students. I'm afraid the prospects for employment for HRS and Caregiver is not very encouraging right now.

Am really interested in the activity you did where you used Dale's POS. I have been looking for ways to automate my parent's store and so far the options available are either too costly or it lacks the features that our business needs. If only you can setup the terms on how to have Dale's POS accredited here in Phil, that would be super. Thanks and Have a Good one, be looking forward to updates.

The other short courses can be done one-on-one, tutorial type. The tutorial type courses include MS Office, Web Page Design and Development with WordPress, Graphics Design, Photo Editing with Corel Draw, movie editing among others.
