The course is designed to teach effective methods of presentation which include planning, analyzing the audience, setting goals, organizing, preparing and using visual aids, delivering the presentation, answering the questions, and following up. The second part is a desktop publishing software like Microsoft Publisher. The course is designed to identify the concepts and applications of desktop publishing and develop competencies using powerful computer software as a desktop publishing tool. Students will learn how to combine text and graphics to create professional-looking documents.
